With over 25 years of experience, Brian P. Van Grouw, DO, has the knowledge and compassion to help patients restore comfort and mobility after illness, trauma, or degeneration. He provides a comprehensive range of treatment options for concerns affecting the upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine. Dr. Van Grouw utilizes a patient-focused approach that emphasizes conservative methods and state-of-the-art care. If you’re bothered by a concern that is limiting your daily function, causing pain, or otherwise minimizing your well-being, Dr. Van Grouw can help. He has extensive training in addressing arthritis, osteoporosis, sports injuries and conditions, and trauma. Dr. Van Grouw also performs joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery, a minimally invasive technique designed to improve outcomes.
Dr. Van Grouw has privileges at The Valley Hospital and is an active member of the New Jersey Medical Society, New Jersey Orthopaedic Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association, and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. Additionally, he serves as the team doctor for the Eastern Christian School Association, where Dr. Van Grouw also provides services as a Youth Leader. Dr. Van Grouw’s other community responsibilities include serving as a board member of the John Walker Memorial First Aid Ambulance Squad of Oakland.
Dr. Van Grouw lives in Oakland with his wife, Linda, and their three active and athletic sons.
